Details

Manufacture: Tubes shall be made by the seamless process and shall be cold drawn.

Heat Treatment: Tubes shall be heat treated after the final cold draw pass at a temperature of 1200°F [650°C] or higher.

Surface Condition: Finished tubes shall be free of scale. A slight amount of oxidation will not be considered as scale.

Hardness Requirements: The tubes shall have a hardness number not exceeding 72 HRB.

Embedded G Finned Tubes

Embedded fin tubes, also known as integral fin tubes, are heat exchanger components where fins are mechanically embedded or bonded into grooves on the outer surface of the base tube. This creates a strong mechanical bond between the fins and the tube, enhancing heat transfer efficiency.

Processing technology: machining grooves into the outer surface of the base tube, then inserted fins into these grooves.
