EN10305-1 E235+N Heat Exchanger Tube For Condenser Application
EN 10305-1 is a European standard for seamless cold-drawn steel tubes for precision applications. It specifies the technical delivery conditions, mechanical properties, and testing for these tubes.
E235 refers to the steel grade. The "E" stands for "Engineering Steel," and the "235" indicates the minimum yield strength of 235 MPa (MegaPascals). This grade offers good weldability and is often used in applications where good strength is required but not extreme hardness or corrosion resistance. The "+N" indicates that the material is normalized. Normalization is a heat treatment process where the tube is heated to a specific temperature and then air-cooled, improving the material's mechanical properties, especially its uniformity and strength.
The E235+N heat exchanger tube is used in a variety of heat exchanger designs, including air conditioning systems, cooling systems, and industrial heat transfer systems. These tubes are commonly used in situations where moderate thermal conductivity and high strength are required, such as in automotive or power plant cooling systems.
